ABOUT THE OWNER

My Story

I’ve always had a passion for massage and physical therapy.  I believe in the healing power of touch, through muscle manipulation and massage therapy.  To become one of the best in my field, I studied at the Academy of Somatic Healing Arts (ASHA) and received my certification in Neuromuscular, Swedish, Chair and Integrated Sports Therapies.

I started out working as a massage therapist for the Ritz Carlton, but I had a desire to do more than I was doing.  I partnered with different people and businesses over the years, trying to find that perfect balance through incorporating massage therapy into traditional medicine.  I continue to learn more about different techniques, from qigong and myokinesthetics to medical massage and traditional Chinese medicine.  Now, I’m a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals) and I have developed my own practice that is the culmination of everything I’ve learned, done, and experienced, and it is my honor and pleasure to share that with you as you and I work together to balance your body.

WHO WE ARE

Gentle Healing

Atlanta Touch Therapy is more than just a massage business.  We are a collection of therapists with different disciplines and specialties.  When I first created the business, I decided to bring in more people for the overall benefit of the clients. All of us have a minimum of 10 years in the industry.  The additional professionals that work with me chose to do so because we had a relationship built on mutual trust and respect. We all have high standards of quality and strong work ethics, and working together for the betterment of our clients is easier when you trust your peers.

With our multifaceted approach, our clients gain the benefit of experienced therapists who have come together to learn from one another and share techniques and best practices, which helps us to educate the people who come to us for help.  And we are not through growing – we may branch out into more self-care and healing professions if/when our client base demands it.
